EMPIXO Small Business Coaching

Understand the numbers. Build the systems. Get the business organised. Turn the plan into action.

Whether you’re starting out, already running, or trying to get back in control, most small-business stress comes down to the same things: numbers you can’t quite see, money that isn’t separated, systems that don’t exist yet, and a to-do list that never becomes done. EMPIXO Small Business Coaching works through it with you, practically, step by step.

Available across both the Plan and Act stages of EMPIXO, coaching and mentoring, not accounting, legal, tax-structuring or regulated financial advice.

What Small Business Coaching Covers

Practical coaching, education and organisation across the money side of running a business:

Separating business and personal money

Cashflow, budgets and forecasts

Pricing and break-even thinking, at an educational level

Debt organisation and tax provisioning habits

Xero education and financial administration

Business banking systems and record keeping

Getting ready for an accountant

Understanding common business structures, at a general level

Planning, accountability and scenario modelling

Action plans: turning decisions into completed steps

Where it’s relevant, for example if you own a rental alongside the business, we can also help with rental-property financial organisation: keeping the records tidy, the money separated and the admin under control. That’s organisation and coaching, not property, legal, tax or investment advice.

Who Delivers Small Business Coaching

Brett has delivered small-business financial coaching through Moneywise Manawatū and brings extensive practical experience across financial mentoring, banking, Xero, property and operating different ownership structures.

He also has personal, practical familiarity with rental property ownership, trusts, limited companies and LTC structures, the kind of lived experience that makes the coaching grounded and real.

That background is experience and context. It doesn’t mean EMPIXO provides legal, accounting or tax-structuring advice, see the boundary below.

Where coaching ends and specialist advice begins

We can educate generally about sole traders, companies, trusts, LTCs and other common structures: how they work and what they’re typically used for. But we stop before recommending which legal or tax structure you should use. That decision needs specialist advice on your specific circumstances.

Where specialist structuring, tax, accounting or legal advice is required, EMPIXO helps you identify that point, get your information organised, and prepare to work with the appropriate professional.
