Meet the founder
Meet Brett Cole
Brett Cole brings around 20 years of banking, lending and financial mentoring experience. Along the way, he has built his own businesses and invested in property. He’s not a distant expert: he’s someone who’s made the real decisions himself, and learned first-hand what actually works.
Brett founded EMPIXO — but Brett isn’t EMPIXO.
It took shape while he was living in Dubai, but it was always built with New Zealand in mind — and it’s made to be bigger than any one person. As EMPIXO grows, so will the people, expertise and services behind it.
Away from the numbers, Brett’s a husband and dad of two, a financial mentor in his own community, and a familiar face at his local cricket club — grounded, and genuinely in your corner.

Many New Zealand employers include financial guidance and coaching in their Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) — a free, confidential support benefit for staff. Brett also works as an EAP financial coach, supporting people through these workplace programmes. If your workplace offers an EAP, it’s worth asking whether financial coaching is included.

The Journey Behind EMPIXO
Real goals. Real progress. Real life.
I’m a Kiwi living in Dubai, building EMPIXO with an ambition to help 50,000 people improve their financial knowledge and confidence. But that’s only one of my goals.
I’m working towards developing property and getting homes built in New Zealand, connecting with innovative NZ and UAE businesses, supporting New Zealand’s presence in Dubai and continuing my financial studies. I’m also working on my fitness, cricket, padel and personal development.
One of my biggest goals is to build EMPIXO into a financially sustainable New Zealand business that genuinely helps people and is thriving by the time I return home.
And above everything else, I want to be a loving father, a great husband and someone my family can always count on.
Some things will go well. Others probably won’t. I’m going to share both.
Because I’m not standing at the top of the mountain. I’m still climbing too.
